of high performance engineering models including scale down engineering models, exhibition models,

The Quality of our Ship Models
We have over 13 years of product research on our models ships and are forever updating and
improving the design and quality mostly based on positive customer feedback. Over the years we have
been inundated with encouraging words from our customers particularly in the Superior, Premier and
Custom ranges. All the ship models produced in these ranges are manufactured using "plank on frame"
craftsmanship which is done by hand from scratch. The type of wood that is used can vary from model to
model but on the whole it is either teak and sapele wood or fiber glass for the more modern yachts. This
method of production has been ongoing for generations and has not changed much although for the
modern sailing ships, motor yachts and technical vessels we have resorted to using computers and
software equipment to achieve a more highly technically accurate ship model.
Our ship models are thoroughly checked by our Quality Control Manager throughout the production
process to ensure that the best quality is maintained.

touch to the model.

customers to produce a Model Maker's Brief (MMB) which provides a "blueprint" of the required model. We
also provide clients professional photographs at set stages during the build process.
